Marketing Operations Manager
Sock Club is revolutionizing the world of branded merchandise through our custom promotional socks. As we scale our B2B marketing engine, we need a Marketing Operations Manager who can transform our marketing infrastructure from functional to phenomenal.
This is not your typical "set it and forget it" marketing ops role. You'll be the architect behind our entire marketing machine—building the systems, workflows, and data infrastructure that turn creative campaigns into reliable, measurable results. Working at the intersection of marketing, sales, design, and data, you'll be the person who ensures our tech stack actually talks to itself, our data is trustworthy, and our processes scale as we grow.
What You'll Do
- Own and optimize our marketing technology stack (HubSpot, Front, ClickUp, Slack, GA4, Sigma, and more) to create seamless, automated workflows that eliminate manual busywork
- Build and maintain robust system integrations using webhooks and API calls to connect our marketing tools efficiently and cost-effectively
- Leverage AI tools to enhance marketing operations, automate routine tasks, and unlock new capabilities across campaign execution, data analysis, and content operations
- Establish and maintain data cleanliness and trustworthiness across all marketing systems—becoming the guardian of data hygiene and accuracy
- Get in the weeds to continuously improve day-to-day marketing operations, addressing workflow bottlenecks and team pain points through creative, effective solutions
- Build and refine lead management processes, scoring models, and campaign tracking that connects marketing activities to sales outcomes
- Collaborate closely with our Sales Operations Manager, Design Operations Manager, and Business Intelligence Analyst to ensure seamless cross-functional workflows and unified data standards
- Create and maintain documentation for marketing processes, ensuring consistency and scalability as we grow
- Design automated workflows using native integrations, webhooks, and APIs to reduce manual tasks and increase team productivity
- Monitor marketing system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our tech stack performs reliably
- Partner with the VP of Marketing and leadership team to surface insights through clean data and reporting that inform strategic decision-making
- Research and implement new technologies and process improvements that empower our marketing team to do their best work
What You'll Bring
- 3-5+ years of marketing operations, workflow design, and automation tool experience
- Hands-on expertise with HubSpot —you should be comfortable building complex workflows, managing databases, and troubleshooting integrations
- Technical proficiency with APIs and webhooks—you can read API documentation, build integrations, and troubleshoot connection issues (experience with tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar is a plus)
- Comfort with AI tools and a mindset for identifying opportunities to leverage AI for workflow automation, data analysis, content generation, and operational efficiency
- Familiarity with scripting or low-code solutions to build custom integrations (Python, JavaScript, or similar a plus but not required)
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data quality—you lose sleep over dirty data and incomplete records
- Experience working cross-functionally and building processes that span multiple departments
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record building and rolling out new tools and processes, as well as managing organizational change
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Obsessive attention to detail paired with systems-thinking and process optimization skills
Bonus Points
- You’ve vibe coded an app with Cursor, Lovable, or Bolt
- You’ve built side project marketing products to drive awareness, trust and inbound leads
- You’ve built AI agents with n8n or another service
- Familiarity with data tools like Sigma or Snowflake
- You know what an MCP server is and how to implement one
- Experience with B2B marketing operations

$90,000 - $120,000 dependent upon experience.
