The Role

Seeking an innovative Program Manager to spearhead the development of new custom-manufactured products and initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping both the strategy and vision that will shape the future of the department. Your primary focus will be navigating the path from conceptualization to the introduction of new products in untapped markets, bolstering Sock Club’s position as a leader in the custom market. This position demands a proactive approach involving market testing, sales experimenting, and ongoing refinement to swiftly uncover fresh perspectives and drive tangible outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans for the launch of new products, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, development, marketing, sales, and design, to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identify clients and selling channels and build relationships and presence in different markets
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Manage project costs and resources, ensuring efficient use and allocation
  • Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a clear and concise manner
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project success and escalate issues as needed
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and new vendors to support new product development
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into project management strategies
  • Build the intake and resourcing roadmap, assign creative resources, and drive, implement, and manage projects.
  • Drive post-launch analysis and identify opportunities for product enhancement or expansion

Skills, Qualities, and Expectations

  • 7+ years experience, takes pride in hard work, has a growth mindset, and exudes high expectations.
  • A self-starter with a proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance
  • Someone who is curious and wants to learn. A builder of ideas and processes who thinks outside the box.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and make project decisions based on data and statistics
  • Write project initiatives, including supporting financials and cost analysis
  • A seasoned and strong ability to problem solve as challenges arise.
  • Ability to balance many projects at one time 
  • You don’t take yourself too seriously and like to have a good time
  • ‘Start-up mentality’ - happy to work as part of a small, agile team and take a proactive, problem-solving approach to their work
  • This position will require travel to meet new vendors and learn manufacturing processes.
