Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Sock Club team. In this role, you'll leverage data to uncover insights, identify business opportunities, and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen and excellent communication skills. This role requires at least 3 days per week in person in our Austin, TX office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Snowflake and visualization tools like Sigma
• Create intuitive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements
• Integrate data from various sources, including CRM systems (Hubspot) and APIs
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in the data to drive business growth
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation
• Optimize our spend on data processing
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field
• Proficiency with Snowflake and data visualization tools, particularly Sigma
• Experience working with APIs and integrating data from multiple sources
• Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Hubspot
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in our industry or related sectors
• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices
• Project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
