At Sock Club, we create high-quality, custom socks that bring brands to life while delivering exceptional service from design to delivery. We’re seeking a Director of Sales - SMB to lead our Small and Medium Business sales team. In this role, you’ll own revenue growth, scale our inbound sales engine, and partner closely with Marketing to optimize lead generation and outreach strategies. You’ll lead a high-performing transactional Sales team, ensuring they have the campaigns, tools, and support needed to consistently exceed monthly revenue goals. You’ll also oversee the Sales Support team, streamlining workflows, enhancing collaboration, and implementing KPIs that drive accountability and measurable success.

This role is built for a data-driven sales leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and collaboration, and who knows how to balance structure, speed, and scale to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue & Growth Strategy
  • Own and execute scalable strategies to expand the SMB client base and drive repeat business.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align campaign strategy and ensure a steady flow of quality leads, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Identify target audiences and high-potential segments to sharpen outreach and improve conversion.
Sales Team Leadership & Enablement 
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing transactional Sales and Sales Support team.
  • Optimize sales funnels, lead qualification, and customer touch points to drive efficiency and results.
Customer Journey & Optimization
  • Partner with Marketing to align messaging and customer journey strategies, while developing sales-driven touch points that move contacts through the funnel. 
  • Map and analyze customer journeys to identify friction points and growth opportunities.
  • Run A/B testing to continuously refine outreach, messaging, and sales workflows.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Build reporting frameworks and processes that drive accountability and transparency.
  • Analyze sales data, conversion metrics, and campaign performance to inform strategy.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to refine positioning and client engagement tactics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales, Customer Success, or Account Management.
  • 3+ years of experience leading customer-facing sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through SMB or transactional sales models.
  • Strong background partnering with Marketing on lead generation and campaign performance.
  • Proficiency in customer journey mapping, sales funnel optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales automation, and performance tracking tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Competitive Pay: On Target Earnings of salary and commission - $120,000-$140,000.
